MY TIME AIN'T OVER HERE YET!?! Another pretty chill week. However, the question was if I was going to stay here in Pedro Juan Caballero or if I was going to be deported for not speaking Portuguese very well. The answer is that they are giving me another shot to prove myself and giving me 6 more weeks here in Pedro Juan to say that I can speak 3 languages. Don't you guys worry. We will be having some more crazy stories here this transfer. I don't got a ton of things to talk about this week, but we are making great progress with our friends that we are teaching. We have a goal of setting 3 baptismal dates this week and we are hoping that they will accept them. The work has been great and it is way more fun when you can communicate and talk with the people here. Other than that I got nothing else for you guys. We are going to get some crazy rain here this week, so maybe I'll have some funny rain stories for next week. Other than that we are still thriving in Paraguay. I lo...

I'M RUNNING OUT OF THINGS TO SAY!!?! We can just say that week killed this week. This was by far one of my best weeks I have had here in Pedro Juan. From achieving our goals to watching part of the Lakers game, I mean what can't get better than that. I had exchanges this week with my zone leader and it was one of the funniest days ever. We actually had a really good day in finding new people and having members in our lessons. However, Elder Rosas was sick as a dog and he was starting to die at like 6:30, so we passed by this members house who is from Brazil and we were there the rest of the day because Elder Rosas was dying. This dude is so funny. He is super smart, so we had a good talk about some gospel related things. He later got bored and started to watch this soccer game, and he told me that he likes basketball. So, we started talking about basketball and he put on the Lakers game for me. His wife made us steak and rice and I watched the lakers game. Like, I can't eve...

I CAN SPEAK 3 LANGUAGES?!? I AM THAT GUY!?! What's up y'all. Don't stress, still alive, still eating chicken and rice everyday and still walking miles a day. I'll be the first to tell you that this is the life. Another week done here in good old Pedro Juan Caballero. Like I have said before, we are getting colder and colder here everyday. It is really weird for me. I have been in summer for a year and now we are dropping into the high 50s in the mornings and it's great, but at the same time, I hate the cold. I have been told that it is going to get colder in the coming weeks. Don't you guys stress, a member here made me a Minions beanie. I'm going to be walking in the cold in style. The zone leaders here gave me a call saying that I had to do a baptismal interview the following day. I was like alright bet, this is going to be my first ever one so I better prepare myself. When I got there and we were talking, they decided to tell me that the girl I was going ...

ROUND 2!?! ON THE RUN!? Man, I just love Pedro Juan Caballero. There is no other place where I would rather be than here. Man, I got that energy, I am feeling good and I am ready to write the best email of my life. So, I have a new companion, he is a goat, but he hasn't had his first taste of crazy Paraguayans. Until this fine day. We were casually walking to a new members house to talk to them and invite them to church. We did our normal 100 contacts and stuff, and got to our friends house. And out of the blue I just hear, "ELDERESSS!!" Ahhh great, here goes round 2. He comes running to us, stumbling and falling to the ground. Now, Elder Rasmussen is losing his mind on what's happening right now. I'm just looking at him like, hey don't worry this isn't my first rodeo. We are standing outside right now with a new member and she is only 14 years old. Her name is Tamia. The guy is yelling at us telling us that he needs some words, and Tamia goes, "You h...

WELP...I'M STILL HERE Yeah don't worry yall. I am still here in good old Paraguay. Still doing my thing like always. I am killing it as District leader. Besides the fact that I don't be going to bed until 10:15, it is super fun being more involved in the mission and learning more on how to be a better leader. Put our friend Román back on date for baptism. I got faith that this time it is going to go through and I am going to watch Roman change his life and it is going to be so awesome. We had zone conference and it was cool to see all the missionaries again. I got my new companion and he is dope. We get along super well. I be trying to work on my Guarani so I am trying to talk with the natives more and more. Got to work more on it. It's getting cold here. I miss the cold but I don't want to get away from the cold. I love you and kill the end of the school year. From your favorite, Elder Ressel
