Noah's Mission

SHE WANTS MY EYE?!? So we found this family that was sitting outside of their house. So... being good missionaries, we went and talked to them. They allowed us to sit with them and chat for a bit. After teaching a fire lesson, this one girl looks at me and says, "Give me your eye!" I was super confused. So, I asked her, "You want my eye?" Everyone started laughing and I kinda just sat there super confused. Like guys, I understand Spanish really well. However, I was just super loose right there. I had a latino comp at this time, and he told me that it means you are cute. I was just super uncomfortable the last 5 mins and wanted to leave ahha. But hey, new family to teach right. WAIT I AM GERMAN!?! Out here on our grind everyday on the mission. We have had a great 2 weeks here in Paraguay. It has been super hot here and I am drinking a lot of water. I went into a store to buy some water and the guy at the counter asked me if I had dollars because I am a white American. This wasn't the first time that I have been asked if I have dollars. However, there are a ton of Germans here in Paraguay, so I told him that I was German... and he believed me. Then I felt bad and told him that I am American. So, now everytime I walk in there he tries to rip me off and ups the price on the drinks. I now have to see how much they cost before buying them.  Somehow someway facebook is the goat at helping us find familias. I have found some freakin sick people to teach now because of facebook. PARAGUAY?!? A very uneventful week. Which was kind of nice to recover and get ready to work. On Wednesday we received our transfer news and my comp got transfered into the city. Took a 6 hour bus ride to the city at 11:30 at night. Super fun let me tell you... I received a new comp and his name is Elder Ingram. He's got 11 months on the mission and his from Idaho. His last area was the Chaco, which is like the craziest area here in the mission, so he has been showing me all the things he bought in the chaco. Had exchanges with some other elders while I was in the city and the other set of elders in their city had a baptism, however other elders came to do exchanges with them too, so we had 8 total elders at this baptism. It was actually super dope. Then took another 6 hour bus ride to Horqueta... super fun Had General conference which was super cool to watch.
