YEAHH!! This was a solid week for us here in Horqueta Not a ton of crazy things happened, but we were able to find a good amount of new people to teach this week.  On Saturday my comp and I decided to throw an activity for the ward and we had a good amount of people show up. We also had some of our friends we are teaching come and watch a movie. And not to mention, I made pancakes. Yeah, I am a cooking God. Just really become Gorden Ramsey out here. They were not lying when they said Paraguay has summer and hotter summer. It is the middle of winter here and we are in the 90s every day. It is okay, at least I am not fighting 120s right now. Spanish study has been super fun, I will post a picture of how I study Spanish now... the last picture is me studying Spanish. I don't have a lot of crazy stories, sorry I am not in Pedro Juan anymore. However, love you all From your favorite, Elder Ressel

YEAH I'm still alive. Don't worry. We are just out here doing the lord's work here in good old Paraguay. The work here is super slow, but we are trying to make progress and change peoples lives. I went to the other area, tacuati, the other week. We can just say that tactuati is how I imagined Paraguay. Lots of trees, sand and little Spanish. I am trying to better my Guarani game, but half the time I swear they are just making noises. It is a super small area and the house doesn't even have a roof. It is just metal sheets and it is pretty bad.  My friend Roman in Pedro Juan got baptized the other week and that was so hype. I was able to talk to him after and he was excited. I also have another friend in Pedro Juan who is going to get baptized this Saturday. There was this guy in a hippie van selling these super cool freakin bracelets and necklaces. I found a necklace that had some teeth and seashells. I totally bought it. It's freakin dope. Love you all and Enjoy sum...

I AM NOW IN THE JUNGLE!?! IT IS TIME TO GRIND!?! Welp... we are not in Pedro Juan Caballero anymore. However, we can just say that we might be in an even more interesting place. Before we get into that, my last couple days in Pedro Juan were fire. Had some lessons like normal, got to give my boy Roman a tie and say goodbye to him and I said goodbye to the other members. Pedro Juan was dope and I will for sure miss my time there. Now I knew I was going to get transfered, it was just a matter of waiting. The calls come in at around 9-10 PM. If you get a call from our president, you are going to the office or going to be a zona leader. So, here's what happened. I'm waiting and waiting and waiting and I got nothing. I just assumed that I was going to stay in Pedro Juan for another transfer. Then out of nowhere, I get a call from president. I'm freaking out didn't know what to do. I answered the call and president told me that I was getting transfered. First he told my compa...

MAN DOWN MAN DOWN!?! HUGE FIRE??? New month, new adventures and new experiences... just love my time as a missionary. It looks like my time might be coming to an end here in Pedro Juan Caballero. Usually we stay in our areas for about 4 transfers(6 months ish) maximum and this was my 4th transfer. We can just say my time here won't be forgotten ever in my life. I have grown to love my savior here more and really got to grow here as a person. From a Spanish and Portugués standpoint, to a spiritual standpoint and to a missionary standpoint. It's crazy to think about how fast time flies by. Had a good week though. Our friend Roman was going to have his marriage and baptism on the 15th of July, but we went through some changes. At first, he wanted to push it back so that they could have more money, but he had a change of heart and wanted to do it earlier. For a missionary, that's music to the ears. I was like yeah, say less. So now the plan is to have the marriage and the bapti...
